ABOUT US

Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) is the busiest and most efficient airport in the world and, by some accounts, the best in North America. As Georgia’s economic jewel, ATL generates a more than $66 billion in annual economic impact and provides more than 63,000 jobs on-site, making it the state’s largest employer. A frequent recipient of awards of excellence, Hartsfield-Jackson is recognized for its leadership in concessions, operations, sustainability, architectural engineering, and construction.

Hartsfield-Jackson continues its 100-year tradition of being a global gateway. With 80 percent of the U.S. population a mere two-hour flight away, it offers nonstop service to more than 160 domestic and 80 international destinations. These locales include major commercial centers in Europe, Asia, the Caribbean, Africa, and South and Central America. ATL also holds the distinction of being the first airport in the world to serve more than 100 million passengers in a single year.

Making Ordinary Service Extraordinarily Accessible

Our mission is to provide a safe, enjoyable travel experience as well as equal access for guests and passengers with disabilities and/or special needs at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

The Office works closely with Airport stakeholders to ensure the best provision of services to passengers with disabilities. The Office also assists guests in resolving disputes regarding the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). We continually seek and implement best practices in providing excellent service to all passengers and guests.

Hartsfield-Jackson’s ADA Office is mandated under Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (29 U.S.C. 794), Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (28 CFR Part 35) and the Air Carrier Access Act (Title 14 CFR Part 382) with ensuring Airport facilities are accessible to individuals with disabilities.

ADA Services and Airport Amenities

NAVIGATION and PARKING

The Airport offers 24/7 parking at the Domestic and International terminals with convenient access by foot to the terminals. We also offer complimentary shuttle service at our Domestic Park-Ride, International Park Ride deck, and ATL Select locations. Automatic ticket dispensers issue parking tickets at the entry of Hourly, Daily, Economy, ATL Select, and Park-Ride lots. The option of using a credit card to enter is available at our International Hourly, International Park Ride deck, and ATL Select.

ATL West Deck is our newest ticketless parking facility. The system reads your license plate as you enter and exit the facility to calculate your parking fee. It also features an advanced guidance system for parking availability. All facilities are first come, first serve, and include ADA accessible spaces as well as EV charging spaces. To increase ease of locating your vehicle upon return, customers are encouraged to jot down their location or take a photo of the vehicle and the area.

Upon exit, guests can utilize the Pay-On-Foot (POF) machines located in the terminal and parking areas, or they can pay at the automated machines on the exit plazas. All major credit cards and cash payments are accepted at POF machines and at the point of exit.

As a reminder, please do not place your parking ticket near a credit card, cell phone, or other electronic device. There is a risk of demagnetizing your ticket and disabling your ability to use the POF or express lanes to exit.

For current parking availability, directions, parking rates, and other parking-related information, please visit ATL’s Parking webpage at atl.com/parking.  Roadside electronic space availability signage is also visible as you approach the terminals. For assistance, please call our Customer Service Department at (404) 530-6725, then press 0.

NOTE: The Airport’s multibillion-dollar capital improvement program, ATLNext, is underway. Roadways and other areas way be impacted. For the latest information, visit next.atl.com.
